KanEL is a Swedish cleantech company (founded 2023, headquartered in Stockholm) delivering battery energy storage systems for commercial and industrial customers, together with a software platform that connects those batteries to the Nordic electricity markets. The platform performs multi-market optimization (MMO) across spot trading, grid tariffs, peak shaving, and ancillary services via Svenska kraftnät, maximizing the total economic outcome for each installation. KanEL operates in Sweden and Finland.
